Supporting education and innovation.

“Enter to learn, go forth to serve”

The Brookland-Cayce High School Education Foundation (BCHSEF) was established in 1997 as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization to raise funds and promote educational programs for Brookland-Cayce High School through donations of goods, services and money from corporations, business groups, foundations, and individuals.

The BCHSEF is governed by a volunteer board of directors, composed of educational, corporate, civic, alumni, and parent leaders. The board’s responsibilities are to coordinate the collection of donor funds from multiple sources, to ensure the safekeeping and accurate accounting for these funds, and to approve the fair and proper disbursement of the funds.

The mission of the BCHSEF shall be to continue to build the Brookland-Cayce High School’s rich heritage of academic excellence. This community-based effort will provide supplemental funding for educational programs, equipment, and projects which may be otherwise unbudgeted.

Donate!

The BCHSEF encourages you to take action to become a member and part of this continued initiative to ensure academic excellence at Brookland-Cayce High School.

BCHSEF donations are tax exempt. Please consider a general donation or establishing a scholarship.

  Scholarships!

The foundation serves as a liaison to business and individuals who wish to present a scholarship to a Brookland-Cayce High School graduating senior. The Finance Committee is authorized by the Foundation Board of Directors to invest all donated funds designated for scholarships. Endowments are invested so only the interest is used each year to fund the scholarship. Memorial contributions are designated for a particular scholarship in the name of the deceased individual.
